This stunning near beach property has the most unusual and unique ambience reminiscent of tropical Queensland where you can enjoy a lifestyle in paradise only minutes from the beautiful Emerald Cove section of south Umina Beach!

Palm Cove Retreat is a tropical slice of paradise where you will feel like you are so far yet still close to the real world. Once you drive down the driveway, you will be surrounded by a forest of tranquillity.

Whichever way you walk you will be taken in by it all, at ground level walk around the home around into your private retreat with a river that leads to the beach. If you don’t want to take the 5-minute walk to the beach along the street, you can kayak along the river to the beach. There is a private sand beach on the river great for the kids or relaxing in the sun. If you decide to go to the beach, you can take a rock walk to Pearl Beach or a short drive to Patonga Beach, Ettalong Beach or national parks for a bushwalk.

Just spent the weekend at Palm Cove Retreat, such a beautiful place with everything you need at your fingertips, our grandkids loved feeding the ducks, fishing and playing on the private beach, our evenings were great fun sitting around the fire pit, the house is great and well equipped with lots of modern appliances and easily fit 10 people, we had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again, I highly recommend staying here.

This accommodation is full of surprises! It is a large house perfectly equipped for the whole family. It feels really good in a quiet place with a magnificent view from the terrace on the beautiful Pearl Beach. The garden is beautiful with palm trees to feel on vacation. An ideal place to meet with friends or family. It is a perfect place that deserves 5 stars without hesitation. We already can't wait to come back 😍

We stayed for 3 days at Palm Cove Retreat. It was a most delightful experience! we were so surprised at the magnificent garden and tall palms. Sitting outside in the BBQ area, it felt like you were totally imersed in a secret place in a rain forest.It was such a surprise because it cannot be seen from the road. A real retreat from the outside world. The garden is full of exotic plants to discover and photograph. A lovely creek runs at the back which flows into the sea which is only about 200 metres away. you can float down to the beach or sit on a kayak. What fun! The rooms were all comfortable with all necessary items provided. Upstairs is a long balcony with views of the garden and beach, There is outdoor sitting on the bacony and gas BBQ. Everything is top quality! A great place for a restful holiday in beautiful surroundings!

I absolutely loved staying here with my family!! The tranquillity of the gardens and beautiful outlook are amazing...the kids spend hours exploring all the hidden nooks and crannies on the property and love exploring the creek on the kayaks. Clean modern house with ample amenities! This feels like tropical QLD but without the steamy heat and travel!! The hosts have really thought about what families need on a holiday! Highly recommended this for families looking for a relaxing and easy getaway.

This house is such a hidden oasis! My daughter loved the visits from the ducks and possum. the house is furnished so nicely and has every amenities your ever going to need and enough space to escape the kids seriously won’t be booking anything else but this when I come back to Umina again.

An amazing property with so many amenities to suit every guest for the young to the old. Pool table, Table tennis, fooseball, bicycles, fishing rods, canoes, row boat, outdoor heaters, fire pitt, board games, stereo systems, even a coffee machine. A total 5 star experience. So much to see and do or do nothing and relax with the ducks and amongst the palm trees. A great place for friends or families to get together. The views are amazing and waking up amongst the palm tree tops is a must. Its a tropical oasis that feels like you are miles away however you are only an hour from Sydney. There are so many positives to this property. Do as much or as little as you like. Definitely a place to relax and unwind its A must to visit.! Will definitely go back. Thank you to the hosts for an amazing experience.

The top floor is available to rent with 3 bedrooms and a master/ ensuite, kitchen, dining and 2 living spaces. Sleeps 10.

The bottom floor is available individually or as one rental with the top floor. It sleeps 4
